Morning and Afternoon 3 Year Old Programs

Our 3K classes are an important and integral base in which to start your child in school.  It lays a solid foundation so that the student is better prepared for the 4K or 4 year old program.  It is a structured program that incorporates play, age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans, and learning together.

During the day, there is a circle time where the students work on the calendar, weather, the beginnings of letter, sound, and number recognition,  and other preschool activities that involve both group participation and individualized learning.  There is also free time in which the students interact and learn even more through play.  There is a wide variety of toys, cognitive games and fine motor manipulatives to play with and enjoy.  There are also dramatic play units, sensory tables and art projects to engage your child.

Students continually learn songs and finger-plays throughout their school day as well as play with preschool instruments, rhythm sticks, bean bags and hoops during music time, just to name a few!

There is a story time, snack time, and an outside play time as well on our huge, newly remodeled playground.  The 3 year old classes also go on a few scheduled field trips throughout the school year.  This program has so much to offer to each student as a solid foundation to their first introduction to school or for those that prefer a bit more structure than some traditional day care environments!

Children who are 3 by September 1st have the option of attending  two half days on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, three half days on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, or Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons, or five half-days on Monday-Friday mornings.  They can also participate in our engaging Lunch Bunch program!
